I’m Amanda. As a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach, I help my clients observe their lifestyle patterns with a fresh, evidence-based perspective and offer an individualized approach to working through the stages of change. I empower them to create purposeful and powerful goals to work toward the best version of themselves – in health and in life.

I am trained through the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy in techniques for guiding clients in making changes. I am skilled in applying principles for relaxing the mind and body, for using lifestyle to optimize health, for harnessing personal strengths, and for using food to power the body.

The Functional Medicine Coaching Academy is unique in that it is the only health coaching program established in collaboration with The Institute for Functional Medicine. My educational experience with FMCA left me feeling passionate about helping others as a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach and well-equipped with research-based knowledge and proven techniques to help my clients get where they want to be.

My family, friends, and faith are a big part of my life and have helped shape me into who I am today. For that, I’m deeply grateful.

My Story

It all began with a hospital visit to the ER where we discovered my husband was having an abnormal amount of “heart palpitations”. What we learned and experienced opened our eyes to the power of lifestyle change and food as medicine.
